ROS to call two over party polls fraud claims
PUTRAJAYA: The Registrar of Society (ROS) is expected to call two DAP members who have claimed that there was manipulation in the recent party elections.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said ROS might also call more people to assist them as they begin gathering information on the claim.
“I have been made to understand that there are several others who claim to have proof of manipulation.
“This proof must be submitted to ROS,” he said after presenting Home Ministry's excellence awards here yesterday.
Hishammuddin, however, stressed that it was not an investigation yet.
“They have submitted a complaint to ROS and the registrar needs additional information,” he said.
The two DAP members, David Dass A. and Mahendran Krishan, made the claim when they submitted letters of complaint to ROS here on Jan 15.
Dass is the Ladang Paroi branch vice-chairman while Mahendran is the branch secretary.
Both are DAP life members.
