Ahmad Husni: Customs Department to receive special allowance

PUTRAJAYA: Customs Department staff can expect to receive a special allowance amounting to half of their monthly salary this year.
Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said the special allowance is to be given as recognition of the department's achievements.
"The department has performed their best last year so we have decided to issued this incentive.
"We will announce at a later date as to when this allowance will be given out," Ahmad Husni said to reporters at the World Customs Day 2013 celebration here Saturday.
