RM60,000 reward for information on William Yau's case

KUALA LUMPUR: A RM60,000 reward awaits those with information leading to the capture and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of six-year-old William Yau Zhen Zhong.

"The information must be valid and sufficient to charge the person in court," MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong told a press conference here Monday.

Police on Monday said that initial DNA results from the Chemistry Department confirmed that the body of a boy found at Port Klang on Jan 24 was that of William.

He was reported missing on Jan 16 at Jalan Putra Mahkota, Putra Heights in Subang Jaya after getting out of the car to look for his parents who had gone to an electrical shop.

"It's not over just because police had found the body. We want justice for little William," Chong said, adding that the reward money was donated by six concerned parties.

He said those with information should get in touch with the nearest police station or contact him at 013-3982381 or 03-22033888. - Bernama
