PUTRAJAYA: The bidding for 50 new innovation business opportunities (IBOs) is now opened to the public.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the opening of the new IBOs was spurred by the overwhelming response towards the previous one.

He said in the previous offering, 92 IBOs from universities, research centres and local companies with a potential annual income RM2bil were offered to investors.

"I am happy to announce 50 more new IBOs.

"Please visit www.innovation.my for more detail of these IBOs," he said after chairing Agensi Innovasi Malaysia's sixth governance council meeting here Tuesday.
