Three Singaporeans and local arrested for drug offences

JOHOR BARU: Police here have arrested three Singaporeans and a Malaysian believed to be involved in drug abuse and distribution.
State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the suspects were nabbed in two separate operations in a hotel room and at a house in Taman Iskandar here between 8.30 am and 11.45am Tuesday.
"One of the Singaporean suspects claimed to be a lawyer so as a lawyer, he should know better than to go against the law," he said in a press conference here Thursday.
He added that the suspects, aged 28 and 46 years, were remanded to assist in investigations.
