Klang MCA HQ burgled again

By TEH ENG HOCK

KLANG: The Klang MCA office in Jalan Pendamar has been broken into for the second time in the space of 10 days.

After carting off with 13 computers on Dec 28, the burglars took off with another four computers Tuesday.

Klang MCA Youth chief Ching Eu Boon claimed it was political sabotage, as only his office was ransacked in the early Tuesday morning incident.

"The rest of the office was untouched. They did not disturb (Klang MCA chief) Datuk Teh Kim Poo's room.

"My computer contained the list of flood victims who will receive compensation from the Prime Minister's Department.

“Also in it is the master list of voters in the constituency and our supporters," he told The Star.

Ching said his staff found out about the break-in when they came to work at 10.20am Tuesday.

"They had only left the office at 12.30am, so the break-in must have happened early in the morning," he said.

He had lodged a police report on the matter, and will install extra grilles, closed-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) and an alarm system.
