Utusan and Azan may settle suit
KUALA LUMPUR: Indera Mahkota MP Azan Ismail is working on a possible settlement with Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd over an article that he had left PKR.
Both parties met High Court judge Justice Hue Siew Kheng in chambers to inform her of this.
Speaking to reporters later, Utusan lawyer Rohanidah Shafie said they are attempting to settle the RM29mil defamation suit.
The judge had set Feb 5 for case management.
