Red thong roses are all the rage
JOHOR BARU: Lacy red thongs made to look like fake roses have become a hot item here.
Sales promoter Hong Teng Fan said the “flowers” were imported from China and demand had increased because of Valentine's Day.
“The rose stalks look fairly ordinary and recipients will only discover the surprise when they look closer.
“The red thongs have heart-shaped holes and the words I love you' embroidered on them,” she said.
She added that the product was popular among married men who wanted something sexy and unique for their wives.
“We also had female customers who bought them as fun Valentine's Day gifts for their girlfriends,” she said, adding that they were priced at RM10 per stalk.
