Hisham: ROS will begin probing DAP election fiasco

By ZUHRIN AZAM AHMAD

PUTRAJAYA: The Registrar of Societies (ROS) will begin probing DAP as the party has failed to submit a report on its recent elections.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the deadline for DAP to submit the report was Friday.

"I was told that there was no report. Since the deadline was not met, ROS will take the necessary action," he said at a Jelajah Anak Malaysia programme here Saturday.

DAP had 60 days to submit the report to ROS after the party's election scandal on Dec 15.

The party made waves after several of its members lodged complaints with the ROS claiming the election results were manipulated.
