KUALA LUMPUR: Fourteen women from China in their 20s and 30s have been arrested at two beauty parlours in Bandar Puteri, Puchong for allegedly abusing their work permits by offering massage services to male clients.

The beauty parlours allegedly offered a sensual massage to male clients for an additional fee of between RM45 and RM76, said Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MBSJ) assistant enforcement officer Adam Afkar Abd Jalair.

He said MBSJ enforcement officers caught one of the women trying to flee the scene by jumping through a window during the one-hour operations which started at 2.30pm on Wednesday.

The raid was conducted jointly with the Malaysian Crime Prevention Awareness Board.

Its president, Datuk Saharuddin Awang Yahya said both premises were raided last year for allegedly exceeding permitted operation hours and asked the authorities to cut their water and electricity supplies. - Bernama
