By DERRICK VINESH

NIBONG TEBAL: Police will close in on two other syndicates to rescue more babies and children from becoming victims of human trafficking.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said he believed more human trafficking cases would be resolved when the two syndicates are busted.

"Through the Ops Pintas Sayang 1 and 2 initiated by the Penang police, we saved 10 babies and 22 babies respectively.

"We will work closely with relevant authorities and agencies in countries which are transit or destinations, where some of these babies are sent to.

"These countries include China, Bangladesh and Australia," he said after meeting Nibong Tebal Rela members in Universiti Sains Malaysia's engineering campus in Transkrian here on Sunday.
