PLUS to expand workshop-on-wheels service


BUTTERWORTH: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) plans to expand its 'Workshop on Wheels' (WOW) service to encompass all the tolled highways it is operating by the end of the year, said its managing director/chief executive officer Datuk Noorizah Abdul Hamid.

She said currently the service was being provided in the northern and southern parts of the North-South Expressway (NSE).

"Today we are launching the second phase of the WOW service which covers critical locations in the north namely the Penang Bridge, between Ipoh Utara and Changkat Jering on the NSE and the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE).

"From next month, we will expand the service to more locations and we are confident that it will be available on all our highways by the end of the year," she told reporters after launching the WOW service for the Penang Bridge here Sunday.

Also present were Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) deputy chairman Wan Zaharuddin Wan Ahmad and AAM chief executive officer, Melinda Ngew.
