Temporary lane closure on Sprint Highway
KUALA LUMPUR: The right-most lane of the Sprint Highway between the Kiara interchange and the Maarof (Kuala Lumpur bound) interchange will be closed from 9pm to 6am for two months from tonight to April 4 to facilitate construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) piers.
Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Corporation Sdn Bhd, in a statement Monday, said the temporary closure was necessary to facilitate utility piloting and construction of the MRT piers.
It said traffic personnel would be on-site to ensure that traffic flow was monitored.
Efficient traffic diversion would be carried out to ensure minimum inconvenience to road users and pedestrians.
Road users and pedestrians were advised to follow the traffic signage as a safety precaution.
MRT Corp apologises for any inconvenience caused to the public during the construction period.
