Boyfriend posted her nude photos on social network

KUCHING: A teacher was furious over her boyfriend’s action of not only hacking and disabling her online social network account but also posting naked pictures of her on the website.
Sharifah, 40, from Jalan Ikhwan Zadi here had lodged a police report on the matter on Jan 26, which led to the arrest of her 40-year-old boyfriend.
According to Sharifah, she failed to log onto her online account early last month and thought it was merely a technical problem. On Jan 19,
Sharifah’s sister in Bintulu called her, saying that somebody had logged into her account and posted pictures of her on the website, including some that depicted her naked.
Angered by the situation, Sharifah did an investigation of her own before finding out that it was her boyfriend who was be-hind it.
When she contacted the man, he responded by demanding RM50,000 from her and if she failed to comply, he would post a video of her on the social network.
Following Sharifah’s police report on Jan 26, her boyfriend arrived at Simpang Tiga station on Saturday at 3pm to have his statement taken before being sent to a lock-up.
The suspect is still under remand pending further investigation.
