Parents detained over death of three-year-old boy

SHAH ALAM: The parents of a three-year-old boy, who died of suspected abuse on Jan 31, have been detained by the police.
Selangor CID chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah said Tuesday that an uncle found the boy unconscious at the parent's home at Taman Semenyih Indah around 12.15pm.
The man rushed the boy to the Kajang Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A post-mortem later revealed the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head. Doctors also found scratch marks on his body.
Police arrested the parents, aged 25 and 26, at their home Monday night.
