Toll rebates for PLUS highway users during CNY holidays
KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS highway users will enjoy toll rebates on selected days during the Chinese New Year holidays.
PLUS managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Noorizah Abd Hamid said in a statement the rebates would be given to users paying toll electronically using the PLUSMiles card, Touch 'n Go card and SmartTAG on PLUS-operated highways.
"It is our way of rewarding our customers this festive season and part of our efforts to encourage the public to switch to the electronic toll payment system which is easier and faster," she said.
She added that the move was also part of a traffic management strategy to disperse traffic and to encourage people to travel on non-peak days.
However, the toll rebates will not be offered to those paying toll electronically at the Bukit Kayu Hitam, Penang Bridge, Tanjung Kupang and Bangunan Sultan Iskandar toll plazas.
