Dead three-year-old boy was undernourished

KAJANG: A three-year-old boy who died of suspected abuse on Jan 31 was also undernourished.
Doctors at IPD Serdang revealed on Thursday that the boy's body weighed in at 8kg as a boy his age normally weighs about 15kg.
A medical check up done on the boy 18 months ago showed the boy was 11kg, which suggests since then he has lost 3kg.
Cause of death still remains as a blow to the head.
Police have detained the parents on Tuesday to assist in investigations .
