MAS travel fares still up for grabs
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines' money-for-value fares are still available until Feb 11, for travel from now until Nov 30, 2013.
The offers include up to 35 per cent discounts on international routes and 40 per cent on domestic routes, as well as special oneworld fares to destinations beyond MAS' network.
The offers are being snapped up fast, the national carrier said.
"Encouragingly, most travellers have snapped up seats for immediate travel in the months of February and March and based on the subsequent trends after the first few days, consumers are also beginning to plan and book for travel in the later months of the year.
"At least 65 per cent of the consumers have booked their travel online through www.malaysiaairlines.com while another 27 per cent snapped up the offers through other global distribution systems," it said in a statement.
It said London is still the favourite destination with all-inclusive economy class return fare starting from RM3409.
The next favourites are Beijing, Shanghai Guangzhou and Taipei while Perth and Melbourne continue to be the preferred destinations in Australia.
From March 1, economy class travel on the A380 to Paris is possible at all-inclusive return airfares from RM2899, the airline said.
