PM: Pakatan's manifesto impossible to achieve

BY MAZWIN NIK ANIS and ONG HAN SEAN

PEKAN: Barisan Nasional will explain to the people why they should reject Pakatan Rakyat's manifesto which is impossible to achieve, said the Prime Minister.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is Barisan chairman, said the coalition would address the issue item per item so that the rakyat would see why the manifesto is just political tricks.

"Pakatan promises to reduce petrol, water tariff, electricity and give free higher education but fail to show how they are going to find the money to finance them.

"Our job is to make the people realise that the promises are not doable and we will counter with facts and figures.

"We will tell the people that Pakatan's promises will only lead to economic disaster," he told reporters after launching the Rural Transformation Centre here.
