KUALA LUMPUR: KTM Berhad will offer discounts to visitors of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2013 which will be held from March 15 to 17.
KTM Intercity marketing senior manager Mohd Noordin Kimi said they would give a 25% discount to passengers who travel from March 14 to 18 using its Intercity service to visit the fair.
“This is for the two-way tickets to and from KL Sentral station to the fair only. This is applicable for a minimum of two adult passengers,” he said during a joint press conference yesterday.
Noordin said that another 25% discount coupon for KTM Intercity tickets, valid from March 15 to May 15, would be available at the company's booth at the fair.
They would also offer discounts on the yearly fees of KTMB I-Card Student and Tiger for first-time applications at the KTMB booth.

“MAS will be offering airfares with discounts up to 47% off normal market fares for domestic travel.
“For international travel, economy fares are discounted up to 61% off market fares and business class fares are discounted up to 65% off market fares,” he said.

“This year, we have brought in 41 travel agents, 47 hotels and resorts as well as 22 local tourist attractions such as Aquaria KLCC,” he said.
MATTA president Datuk Mohd Khalid Harun said the event would be held at Hall 1, 1M, 2, 3, Linkway, and Legar Putra Hall at Putra World Trade Centre.
