Lahad Datu: Philippine military intercepts 32 suspected Sulu gunmen
ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines: The Philippine military reported that 32 suspected followers of the self-styled Sultan Jamalul Kiram III were intercepted near Taganak in the municipality of Turtle Islands on Wednesday.
Details of the interception were not clear, however, as to where the 32 men were headed or if they were armed or not.
Lieutenant General Rey Ardo, commander of the military's Western Command, confirmed that the interception took place. - Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN
