Najib wants multi-storey carpark for Kuala Lumpur Hospital
Najib and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor chatting with outpatients during his visit to Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Thursday. KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wants a multi-storey carpark for Kuala Lumpur Hospital to turn it into a user-friendly premier hospital of world standard.
"We must make this hospital user-friendly in all aspects.
"One of the grouses I hear often is the lack of parking space.
"I insist that there must a multi-storey car park here or the situation will remain chaotic," he said at the opening of the specialist clinic and ambulatory care centre during the working visit at the HKL.
"People are parking haphazardly, and staff have difficulty finding a parking bay. We must resolve this problem in the (development) package to be implemented," he said.
The prime minister said the construction of the car park was expected to be completed in January 2015.
