Husni announces RM37.8bil aid for rakyat
IPOH: A total of RM37.8bil has been allocated by the government as aid for the rakyat this year.
Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said the aid comprises RM22.3bil for subsidies, RM873.5mil for incentives and RM14.6bil for assistance.
"The amount is higher than last year and it is part of the government's social justice philosophy.
"We want to help those in need, of all races," he said, after launching the Tambun parliamentary Youth Development council here Saturday.
