Ipoh mudslide cleared up, residents can access highway

IPOH: One lane of Persiaran Kledang Permai is already open for two-way traffic this morning, allowing Taman Kledang Permai and Taman Arkid residents to access the Ipoh-Lumut Expressway.
Residents were cut off from the Expressway and forced to use alternative routes when a mudslide occurred early Friday morning, blocking the road.
A site check saw workers clearing away debris that was still blocking the road and washing the mud from the pavement.
The entire road will be cleared and open to residents by the end of Saturday.
