AirAsia to stop Da Nang flights from June 10

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia will stop its flights from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang, Vietnam, effective June 10 as part of its route network realignment.

The low-cost carrier said all affected passengers would be notified via e-mail as well as receive an SMS notification about the matter.

“AirAsia's customer service personnel will also notify each affected guest via phone on the options available to them,” it said in a statement yesterday.

Those affected have the option of moving their flights, either to or from Kuala Lumpur or Da Nang, to an earlier date at no extra charge.

Otherwise, guests can opt for a full refund or a credit shell for the value which they paid, which would be valid for six months.

“AirAsia strongly urges all guests to keep their e-mail addresses and mobile numbers with their country code prefix updated in their AirAsia member profiles to ensure that the airline can reach them to provide assistance due to the cancellation of this route,” it said.

For more information, guests can contact AirAsia's customer care team by tweeting twitter.com/AskAirAsia.
