Rozita: It’s my right to wear what I want


DESPITE criticisms about her so-called sexy dressing, actress Rozita Che Wan is standing her ground.

“I know what people say about me. They think I am past my prime and that I should know my place,” said Rozita, 40.

“Whatever they may say, it is my right to wear what I want,” Sinar Harian quoted her as saying.

The latest criticism came about after her beau Zain Saidin posted on Instagram a picture of her in a blue mini-skirt.

The mother of two said that people should just mind their own business.

Asked about her marriage plans with actor Zain, she said she would hold a press conference to explain the matter.

“Wait for it. I don't want to have any misunderstandings later,” she said.


> A 27-year old homemaker was abused for three days by her husband for spending too much time on social media websites, Harian Metro reported.

Her nightmare began last Saturday when her 30-something husband came home from work and started beating her up.

The abuse lasted for three days when she eventually managed to lodge a report at the Kepong police station. Apparently, the husband was upset that she had been engrossed with chatting on the Internet.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying that the husband could not control his anger when she did not even notice that he had come home.

He started to abuse her verbally and physically.

He even used a wooden stick to beat her.
