By QISHIN TARIQ

KUALA LUMPUR: Three former Axis Incorporation Bhd executive directors have claimed trial in the Session Court here to multiple counts of supplying false information to Bursa Malaysia Securities.

Koh Tee Jin, 47, Saipuddin Lim Abdullah, 54, and Lee Han Boon, 32, were on Thursday, separately charged with five counts of furnishing Bursa Malaysia with false income statements for Axis between Aug 28, 2006 and May 22, 2008.

Deputy public prosecutor from the Securities Commission Ahsani Mohd Nasir told the court that he would apply to have the cases heard together as it involved similar charges in the same company.

Koh was represented by Chua Chen Cher while Datin Daljit Kaur acted for Saipuddin and Lee.

Judge Mat Ghani Abdullah ordered their passports to be held and set bail at RM100,000 with two sureties for each of the accused.

He fixed May 21 for case management.

It was learnt that the three accused had been declared bankrupt, while Axis, a garment manufacturer company, had been delisted from the second board in 2010.
