Accountant charged with perjury during civil trial

KUALA LUMPUR: An accountant was charged in the Magistrate's Court with perjury during a civil case trial before the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Thursday.
Cherng Chin Guan, 48, claimed trial to giving false testimony in the High Court on March 21 2011.
DPP Kee Wei Lon urged the court to set bail at RM7,000 with one surety.
Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin allowed bail at RM5,000 with one surety and fixed April 22 for next mention.
