PKR reveals evidence of the identity of blogger Papa Gomo
By LOSHANA K SHAGAR
PETALING JAYA: PKR has revealed anecdotal evidence that allegedly proves claims that blogger Papa Gomo and KL Pos Media & Production Sdn Bhd chief executive Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris are the same person.
Its strategic director Rafizi Ramli on Tuesday showed reporters images of Wan Muhammad Azri taken from his ex-wife's blog, and blurred images of Papa Gomo on the latter's website, and indicated the metal bracelet worn by the men in all the pictures.
“I was told that the bracelet was made by Wan Muhammad Azri's ex-wife, who owned a shop selling accessories.
“The same bracelet was worn by Papa Gomo when he was invited on board Scorpene,” he said in a press conference at the PKR headquarters.
Rafizi's “expose” comes on the heels of the latest postings by Papa Gomo, including a video posting of an undated Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's interview with BFM89.9, The Business Station, in which he was asked point blank three times whether he was a homosexual or a bisexual.
On Thursday, Anwar had filed a RM100mil suit against Papa Gomo for defamation over the posting of a series of screen grabs from a video showing two men in intimate situation in a blog www.rajagoyang360.blogspot.com.
Rafizi also showed reporters discrepancy in Wan Muhammad Azri's alleged dual voter registration, where he was registered in Ampang as a police personnel with a date of birth on April 8, 1983 and as a regular voter in Wangsa Maju with a date of birth on Jan 21, 1983.
“A check on immigration records show that both his police authority card and MyKad have the same date of birth, which is Jan 21, 1983.
“So where did the other birth date come from?
“The Election Commission must investigate this matter, as the wrong birth date is too distant from the actual one to be merely an error during data entry,” he said.
Immigration records also showed that Wan Muhammad Azri's passport was registered with his police authority card.
Wan Muhammad Azri has since denied that he is Papa Gomo, and that he was registered to vote only in Wangsa Maju.
