Tender results for Langat 2 project out in April

SEPANG: Results for the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant Project (Langat 2) tender are expected to be ready next month.
Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui said Tuesday that the Water Asset Management Company (PAAB) was in the midst of evaluating the tenders received.
"Even with all the mitigation projects that we have carried out to address the water shortage crisis, our water supply (in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya) will not be assured until the Langat 2 begins its operations," Chin said after visiting the Taman Ixora booster pump station in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi near here.
