Farmer killed in robbery at his home

IPOH: A 27-year-old farmer died trying to ward off intruders at his home in Kampung Sungai Badak, Jejawi early Wednesday.
Mohd Suhaili Abdul Salim was alerted from his sleep at about 3am of someone kicking at the door of his house.
“A group of four masked man, suspected to be foreigners, entered the house through the kitchen.
"The victim tried to fight the intruders but was slashed. He died on-the-spot,” state police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Shukri Dahlan told reporters.
DCP Mohd Shukri said the intruders tied up the victim's parents, in their 60s, and ransacked the house.
They left with about RM6,000 worth of jewellery and two handphones.
" We are trying to identify the group," DCP Mohd Shukri said.
