Lahad Datu: Photos of slain intruders released

Also present were Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (center) and Sabah Police Chief Datuk Hamza Taib. - NORMIMIE DIUN/The Star LAHAD DATU: Authorities released photos of 13 slain intruders Wednesday, following the all-out attack Tuesday by Malaysian security forces against armed Sulu gunmen holed up in Kampung Tanduo near here.
Sweep and mop-up operations at the site unearthed a mass grave containing the bodies of nine Sulu intruders.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the Armed Forces also managed to seize weapons during the operation.
The bodies of nine terrorists that were found by Malaysian security forces during a mopping up operation under 'Ops Daulat' in Kampung Tanduo near Lahad Datu on Wednesday. - Bernama "This is the proof, the bodies that we managed to gather, and we are in the process of collecting more bodies," he told a press conference live on TV3 at Felda Sahabat Residence here.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said that no Malaysian personnel was injured in the operation.
"We have to conduct a full post mortem on the dead bodies to determined how they died,” he said.
The ministers also showed photographs of weapons seized at the scene and the body of the gunman who was shot and killed at 6.45am.
