GE13: Penang - Blogger Papa Gomo not going up against Anwar in Permatang Pauh
PETALING JAYA: Blogger Papa Gomo has decided not to contest in Permatang Pauh against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and will give his full support to BN candidate Dr Mazlan Ismail, he said in a blog posting Friday.
"After discussion with Nadi Rakyat Malaysia and various parties, I have made the decision to support the BN candidate Dr Mazlan.
"I am withdrawing not because I am afraid of my identity being revealed, but because I do not believe Anwar and the Opposition deserve to be given the mandate to run the country," he wrote in his blog.
