Tsu Koon will resign as Gerakan president next week
PETALING JAYA: Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon (pic) announced on Saturday that he and secretary-general Teng Chang Yeow are resigning from their party posts on May 16 and May 11 respectively.
Deputy president Chang Ko Youn will take over as acting president until party's central elections on Oct 26.
Koh said Gerakan, would not take up any Federal Cabinet post, but would take up state leadership positions instead.
