Police: 11-year-old was raped before being killed

KLANG: Eleven-year-old Nur Amyliana Shuhada Noor was raped before she was murdered.

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mat Yusop said the post-mortem also revealed that her death was due to asphyxiation.

“We have recorded statements from eight people including family members and friends of the victim as well as the person who found her body,” he said.

Year Six pupil Nur Amyliana Shuhada's body was found by passers-by near a carpark in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, on Wednesday.

She had gone out to see her friends that evening and never came home.

Two men, aged 19 and 24, were picked up near the crime scene on Thursday.

Investigations showed that, except for blood stains on the victim's private parts, there were no other injuries.

The suspects have been remanded for seven days.
