Zulkifli Noordin wants police, EC to act on Anwar's post-GE13 rallies

KUALA LUMPUR: The police and Election Commission (EC) should take legal action against Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for organising a series of rally to protest against the 13th general election (GE13) results, said Malay right-wing group Perkasa vice-president Datuk Zulkifli Noordin.

He said this was because Anwar had humiliated and betrayed the people who had chosen the Barisan Nasional (BN) to stay in power.

Pakatan Rakyat held rallies in protest against the election results at the Kelana Jaya Stadium, Petaling Jaya on Wednesday and the Batu Kawan Stadium, Penang yesterday while another one was expected to be held in Ipoh Sunday night.
