Khalid sworn in as Selangor MB

Sultan Sharafuddin handing over the apointment letter to Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as the Mentri Besar of Selangor at Istana Alam Shah in Klang on Tuesday. SHAH ALAM: Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim was sworn in Tuesday as Selangor Mentri Besar for a second term.
He arrived at Istana Alam Shah in Klang around 9.40am and greeted guests before the swearing-in ceremony at Balairung Seri.
Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah arrived around 10am for the ceremony, presenting Khalid with his appointment letter.
According to the Sultan's private secretary Datuk Munir Bani, only Khalid's name was submitted to the ruler as candidate for the Mentri Besar post.
