In Malacca, it is rumoured that either Sungai Udang assemblyman Datuk Idris Haron or Asahan assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghafar Atan would be sworn in before governor Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob today.

Idris Haron, 46, was formerly the Deputy Higher Education Minister while Abdul Ghafar is a senior member of the state exco.

Meanwhile, Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob is expected to be sworn in later this week.

Adnan is expected to seek an audience with Sultan Ahmad Shah before the official ceremony in Istana Abu Bakar, Pekan.
