ACTOR and TV personality Jimmy Shanley has filed for a court order to jail his former wife Nursuhaila Eliani Suhaimy for allegedly denying him visiting rights to their baby daughter.

Jimmy, whose real name is Jimmy Shanley Norjahan Saleh, 32, filed for a committal proceeding in the Syariah High Court on Tuesday, claiming that Nursuhaila was in contempt of court.

According to his lawyer Mohd Noor Azian Md Idrus, the court had awarded Nursuhaila full custody but also granted Jimmy access to their daughter three days in a week, but she refused to comply.

According to Kosmo!, Jimmy also said he was upset when he on three different occasions he tried to get his only child to stay with him, but Nursuhaila, 27, refused to cooperate each time.

Jimmy had also lodged three police reports on the matter.

The court in its April 8 decision allowed Jimmy access to little Zahrah Rania every Tuesday to Thursday, and the parents would take turns spending Hari Raya and Aidiladha with her.

During their bitter custody battle, Jimmy had raised questions over Nursuhaila's character, including claiming that she was a woman of loose morals and liked to gamble and consume alcohol.

They were divorced in October 2011 after a being married a year.

According to Harian Metro, the 69-year-old woman was walking alone on the beach in Batu Feringghi when a man in his 20s crept up from behind her and pulled her hand in the 6.30pm incident on Sunday.

Police said the attacker overpowered her and tried to pull down her pants but was unsuccessful when she fought back.

She screamed for help when the attacker bit her on the breast and ran away.

The victim then ran to her car parked nearby while still screaming and drove herself to the Batu Feringghi police station to lodge a report.
