National Finals of the Competition will be held in Kuala Lumpur
in March 2009 where two winners will be chosen
to represent Malaysia in London from 18th - 21st May 2009.

1. The preliminary competition is open to all school and tertiary students between the ages of 16 and 20, as
of 21st May 2009, and in full time education at the time of the competition.
Participants must be Malaysians.
2. All participants must agree to abide to the rules and regulations as stipulated by the organisers of the ESUM, The Star, HSBC Public Speaking Competition 2009.
