Chin Bee on the double, once again
LAGOS: Malaysia’s top tennis player Khoo Chin Bee won both the singles and doubles titles in the ITF Heineken women’s circuit II here on Sunday.
In the singles, Chin Bee defeated Megha Vakhara of India 6-1, 6-2.
Chin Bee then partnered Vakhara to defeat India’s Liza Perira-Sonal Phadke 6-4, 6-4.
A week earlier, Chin Been won the doubles in circuit I here.
Together with Vakhara, they defeated the Russian-Begian pair of Anca Anastasiu-Jennifer Debodt 6-1, 6-2.
In the singles, Chin Bee was beaten 7-6, 2-6, 3-6 by Phadke in the semi-finals.
