Eventing and women’s cycling reinstated
KORAT: Two events that were dropped from the Korat SEA Games four days ago, have been reinstated, increasing the number of gold medals at stake to 475 from 473.
The two events reinstated are equestrian (eventing) and women's cycling in the downhill event following the confirmation of Indonesia and Vietnam to participate in the competitions. Intially, the two events only had Thailand and Malaysia in the fray.

Lone ranger: World champion Suzy Mohd Sulaiman is all set to defend the gold medal she won in the Manila SEA Games two years ago. |
The Games technical committee chairman, Dr Sakphai Thapsuwan, announced that the start time for their matches had been rescheduled from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
He added that the change was to accommodate requests from Malaysia and Vietnam for a review of the start time.
Although the Games officially open on Dec 6, some events, among them competitions for shooting and football, will start much earlier. Shooting starts on Nov 27 in Bangkok.
Out of the 43 sports contested, Korat will host 30 of them while Bangkok will stage six of them. The others will be held in Pattaya. Bernama
