Hertha get Brazilian Kaka
BERLIN: Hertha Berlin are getting their fifth Brazilian, and his name is Kaka.
It’s not the AC Milan forward, however, but his namesake from Portuguese club Academica Coimbra, a 27-year-old central defender.
“We have agreed on all the details. All that’s missing is his signature,” Berlin general manager Dieter Hoeness said yesterday.
Kaka passed a physical on Wednesday and will play alongside the Bundesliga’s four other Brazilians, Minero, Raffael, Lucio and Andre Lima. – AP
