Duncalf beats Waters to win in New York
KUALA LUMPUR: Fourth seed Jenny Duncalf of England warded off a strong challenge from compatriot Alison Waters to win the US$42,000 Carol Weymuller Open in New York on Sunday.
World number five Duncalf, who chalked up an easy win over four-time world champion Nicol David of Malaysia in the semi-finals, scored a back-to-back title triumph with an 11-7, 11-9, 6-11, 11-9 win.
Duncalf emerged as champion of the Soho Square Open in Egypt last week.
