Moment of pride as NSAM turn 60
SUBANG: The National Shooting Association of Malaysia (NSAM) celebrated their 60th anniversary with a pompous ceremony at the Subang Shooting Range yesterday.
Among the dignitaries present were NSAM president Ally Ong and patron Tun Mohamed Hanif Omar.
NSAM secretary Jasni Shaari was brimming with pride as he looked back at the national body’s evolution over the decades.
“I have been with the association for more than 20 years and I have seen a lot of progress.
“I hope we will not stop here but continue to move forward,” said Jasni.
“The facilities are better and we now have a solid and regimented training programme. And to top it all off, our shooters have been producing good results in international tournaments.”
