Rubin Kazan champs again
MOSCOW: Russia’s defending champions Rubin Kazan retained their Premier League title with a 0-0 home draw with Zenit St Petersburg after their closest pursuers Spartak Moscow lost 3-2 in the Moscow derby with CSKA.
Yesterday’s results left Kazan with 60 points from 29 matches with an unassailable five-point lead ahead of Spartak. Zenit St Petersburg and Lokomotiv Moscow share third on 51 points. — AFP
