Ibrahimovic out 1 week with leg muscle injury
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) - Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the Spanish leader's Copa del Rey match this week after injuring a thigh muscle in Saturday's 4-2 win over Mallorca.
Ibrahimovic could still be available for Sweden's friendly against Italy on Nov. 18, Barcelona said.
The striker hurt his left leg in the 87th minute after being brought down inside the area to set up a penalty that Lionel Messi converted for Barcelona's fourth goal.
Barcelona said Ibrahimovic will be out for one week, ruling him out of Tuesday's domestic cup match against Cultural Leonesa, which Barcelona leads 2-0 from the first leg.
