Fairuz gets BRDC membership
PETALING JAYA: A1 Team Malaysia driver Fairuz Fauzy has been elected to the elite British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC).
As a full member of the BRDC, Fairuz joins a select group of drivers, including F1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, and former racing personalities such as Damon Hill, who is also the club president.
Fairuz is only a stone throw away from the BRDC club house when he is in his home in England.
The BRDC headquarter is located close to the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire.
The BRDC membership is only available to racing drivers who are born in the United Kingdom or in a Commonwealth country.
The entry criteria remains strict with full membership offered only to those who have attained international success over a number of seasons.
