Faldo to play at Sunningdale
LONDON: Nick Faldo, knighted in Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday honours list on Saturday, is to compete in next month’s Senior British Open.
The six-time major champion joins a strong field including Greg Norman, Bernhard Langer, Tom Watson, Tom Lehman, Ian Woosnam and Sam Torrance in the July 23-26 event at Sunningdale.
The 51-year-old Faldo won the 1992 European Open at Sunningdale. — Reuters
