Morocco, Togo draw 0-0 in World Cup qualifier
RABAT, Morocco (AP) - Morocco was held to a 0-0 draw by Togo on Saturday after Mounir El Hamdaoui missed a penalty for the host in a World Cup qualifier.
The result leaves Togo in second place in Group A with four points from three games, while Morocco remains third on two points.
El Hamdaoui, who was the top scorer in the Dutch league this season for AZ Alkmaar, missed from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute and was replaced in the 62nd by Nabil Baha.
Togo was without suspended Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Gabon leads the group with six points, while Cameroon is last with one.-AP
